How many times do you wash your face daily?

Twice! Once in the morning & once in the shower when i get home from uni

What skin type do you have? (dry,oily,combo)
Combination! Slightly oily T-zone

What is your current facial wash?
Laura Mercier Daily polish(the orange one)

Do you exfoliate?
Yesss! really important! My face wash has micro pearls so it's really good!

What brand do you use?
At the moment : Ella Bache

What moisturizer do you use?
Clarins Hydracare! (love it!)

Do you have freckles?
Nopeeeeeees

Do you or did you have acne prone skin?
Nope! I was blessed with good skin (: yays to that, but i do get the occasional breakouts :(

Did you ever have to use Pro-activ?
Nopes!

MAKE-UP

What foundation do you use?
I don't use foundation daily but if i do i use MAC select SPF or Revlon Colourstay

How about concealer?
I use Bobbi brown Concealer in Golden

Do you know your undertone color?
Yupp! Warm (:

What do you think of fake eyelashes?
Haha i have no idea how to use them! But i'm gonna try it sooon!

Did you know that you are supposed to change your mascara every 3 months?
Yupp i know that!

What brand of mascara do you use?
I actually don't use mascara! Trying to get into it though, i just purchase the Rimmel sexy curves which i've used once & it is not too bad (for a first time mascara)

Sephora or MAC?
I say MAC just because we don't have Sephora in Aus! :(

Do you have a MAC Pro-card?
Nope

What makeup tools do you use in make up application?
Brushes & Wedge Sponges (from the drugstore)

Do you use make-up base/primer for the eyes?
I do! Two face shadow insurance & MAC paintpots

For the face?
MAC prep & prime & i used to use Benefit's That Gal

What is your favorite eyeshadow (color or shade)?
Once again just got into eye make up so i'm sticking to neutrals! (:

Liquid! or Gel (:

Never? HAHA

I LOVE them! Just used mine today!

Yupp i do! Sometimes

At the moment? I would say Laugh-a-lot by MAC

Right now? Ripe peach!

Yes i do! I think there are good buys in drugstores too!

I did! But i just figured that i could learn everything from all the talented makeup gurus on youtube!

Not really!

When foundation clumps!! Or there is a distinction between their face & neck!

Do you like colorful shades of makeup (lipstick,eyeshadow) or neutral ones?
Neutrals!!!

I love Kim Kardashian! & Jessica Alba (really simple ) & Anna Hathway!

If you could leave the house using just ONE make up item,what would you use?
Blush! (:

Could you ever leave the house without any makeup on?
Yupp! Usually don't wear any to uni!

I think makeup helps to enhance my features!

MAC!

I think it's awesome! Too much is gross but using it to enhance features is great! :)

As promised! NYX & UD!!

Hey guys! Hope you're having a great easter break! I'm not :( have to go back to uni 3 out of 4 of days! :( Makeup makes everything better so let's get on with it! :D

So i came back home & saw 2 parcels jutting out of my mail box & was SO excited!!! Thank goodness no one took them! They were practically hanging out of the mail box!

YAYS to express post! Because i really wanted them before the Easter break (Not that i was going anywhere fancy) I just wanted them quick :p

First up from Crushcosmetics.com , i happened to chance upon this site & for all you aussie girls out there who have been hearing so much about NYX but have not had a chance to try them out (like meeee) go to the site & try it out! :D I really regret not getting eyeshadow palettes! I swear i got into eyeshadow about 2 hours after i placed my orders :( Major upsetttt! But well there is always next time! & besides that gave me an excuse to do a MINI MAC haul :p just a few eyeshadows!

Does this make you excited at all? (: (: (:

I have never tried anything from NYX but hearing all the raves i wanted everything!

First thing i got, being a blush addict! I got a blush in Mocha

I must say i am not 100% impressed with it, it is really powdery & the colour payout isn't fantastic! Though i'm a blush addict i really like blushes which have a really nice texture too so i don't just purchase any blush! Thus only ordering one blush! The colour isn't too bad, looks quite simliar to what it looks in the pan, i'll probably use it but i'll use a cremeblend blush before i apply this just for better payoff! (:

This made me SO EXCITED!!!! I was jumping all over the place! I'm also obsessed with lipsticks (as you can see!) hahas I really wanted quite neutral shades! Besides Honey which is totally unflattering on me! I LOVE the rest!

Surprisingly the lippies are really really creamy! I kid you not, for the price you pay you get real quality! Which really made me happy! i really liked it! I will probably be the next person you hear raving about the lipsticks too! They colour payout of is FANTASTIC! (look at swatches below!) For less then 1/3 of the price we pay compared to MAC in aus, NYX is only AUD3.75 or 3.25! How fantastic! (:

Ratings : 4/5 poofs!

Lipgloss : Natural, Lip pencil : Bloom & Rose brown

The lipgloss is pretty! It has a nice sheen to it, though i don't like the applicator at all! :( It is doe foot (which i'm cool with) but it is not a straight doe foot applicator, its sorta crooked which i feel makes it really hard to get any product! :(

Ratings : 3/5 poofs! (because of the applicator!)

When i saw the lip pencils, my first thought was : i did not purchase any lip pencils! I double checked my receipt & true enough i didn't. These were given complimentary to me by crushcosmetics! I'm not sure if it's because i spend over a certain amount what so ever!
I'm starting to use lip pencils, but i know minimal about them, i think the colours are pretty & they are quite soft. Besides that i really can't comment, it was a really nice thing to receive it though & they happen to be colours i would use! How awesome! I have yet to try them but will try them out before rating them!

I purchased from her the much raved about Urban Decay pencil liner

I'm really glad i bought the minis from her before i purchase the full sized ones, i've heard so much about it that i really wanted them! :)

The pencils are REALLY SOFT, softest i've ever tried & the colour payoff is goood! & they UD makes awesome colours too! (: I was really pleased with that!

I tried it on the day after i received it & was a tad upset :( I know MOST people say this really stays on for them on their waterline etc. I was hoping it will for me too but it didn't! I must say that i have SUPER WATERY EYES, & i have not used a liner which has stayed on my waterline at all! Even MAC's fluidline which is alright when i line my upper lid but when it line my waterline i look like a panda after a few hours.

The ONLY liner that works for me is MAC's liquidlast (i know i'm not supposed to use liquid liner to line my water line but i use an angled brush to apply the product & not using the brush directly!!).

I honestly think that Revlon colourstay does a slightly better job then urban decay ): Oh wells i'm still in the hunt to look for something which is able to stay on my waterline & not make me look like a panda! HAHA! but with watery eyes nothing works! If you know anything which might potentially work, holla me i'm all up for it! :D

Spring Forecast

Hey lovelies!

So yes we all know! MAC Spring forecast is FINALLY OUT IN AUSTRALIA! it was out yesterday!
I went to check it outt! LOVEDD IT <3 i didn't get anything because i wanted to go the MAC seminar (tomorrow) so i had my items put on hold! YAYS (: but its awesomeeeee

You guys HAVE to check it out!

What? Brush Guard?

Hey guys!

I just discovered this new item, i don't even know how long it has been selling for!
It is pretty good, for the most part! I purchased it 2 weeks ago & got it on thursday! was too busy to try it out! But finally got a chance to try it today!

My friend loves it! I sorta have mixed feelings for it!

So this is how it looks like!


I got 2 variety packs! The variety packs consist of 3 different brush guard sizes
1 face brush sized
2 blush brushes sized
2 eyeliner/eyeshadow brushes sized

I should have taken pictures of the guard it self but silly me didnt! :(
Here is my washed brushes with the guard!

So, what does this brush guard do?

1. It is supposed to allow your brush to maintain it's shape while drying
2. It ensures that water does not flow back into the brush during drying! Since it ensures that the brush is facing downwards!
3. You can bring your brushes for travelling with this! Keep them clean! :D

Just put them in a normal cup & the water is supposed to drip out into the cup! (:


This is how it looks like on it's own! This is my Eco-tools blush brush (IMO the BEST lower end brush, infact i like it better then Sigma! No offence to Sigma lovers!)

For the most part these brush guards are good& they do live up to what they are supposed to do!
BUT, i have my sigma brush in the travel sized kit & they DO NOT work well with them ):
Because the brush guard is relatively long, when it was being pulled over my travel sized brushes, there was not way i could even get a little grip of the handle to pull the guard to allow it to fit nicely. i had to push my BRUSH TIP (VERY BAD!!!!!) to get it to fit.

Am i even making sense? Maybe i should do a video i sound so confusing! haha

But bottom line : Works well with FULL sized brush! & not with travel sized ones ):

Shipping is def worth it! $3 or 5(can't remember) for FIVE packs! so share the shipping with your friends & it's worth it! I think i got mine for about $7/pack (plus shipping)
